Field Technician / Laborer
About The Position
The Field Technician / Laborer performs various hands-on work such as pressure washing, dry/wet vacuum truck operations support, steam cleaning, and basic industrial maintenance. This role involves operating a company motor vehicle to travel to and from job sites, using hand tools, light machinery, and sharp tools. The employee is responsible for the care and light maintenance of tools and equipment and must work in a safe and healthy manner in accordance with established safety and OSHA requirements. The work environment is in various industrial plants and settings, encountering dust, oils, and commodities like grain and fertilizer in varying weather/temperature conditions. Employees must follow all safety standards and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Has ability to read, understand, and carry out oral and written instructions and schedules
- Gives respect to co-workers, clients, supervisors, and vendors
- Can be on time, flexible, adaptable, and professional
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Three (3) years of general labor or construction experience preferred
- CDL-A or B preferred
