They are seeking a Field Technician- Laborer to join their Stormwater Repair Crew in Auburn, GA. The role involves outdoor work and requires the ability to perform various repair and maintenance tasks on ponds, lakes, and stormwater control measures. The company specializes in stormwater management, providing routine maintenance and repairs on stormwater devices, lakes, ponds, wetlands, and underground facilities since 2006.

Requirements

Ability to pass a background check
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in various weather conditions
Comfortable working around water, slopes, and environmental risks (bees, poison ivy, etc.)
Great communication skills and ability to interact with multiple audiences, including but not limited to the Operations Team, subcontractors, vendors, and others.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the following disciplines is desirable: fisheries, wildlife management, conservation, ecology, biology, environmental sciences, or forestry, pond/lake maintenance, landscaping, erosion control, or stormwater maintenance

Responsibilities

Report to the field supervisor
Complete repairs and maintenance on ponds, lakes, and other stormwater control measures, including: Turf establishment planting, hand or machine excavation, grading, erosion repairs, tree removal, and site stabilization
Operate and maintain equipment safely (slope mowers, Ventrac, front-end loaders, mini-excavators, skid steers, other)
Perform manual labor tasks such as moving materials by wheelbarrow, including rip rap, mulch, and dirt
Maintain and repair ponds, lakes, and stormwater control measures (planting, spreading seed, mixing bags of concrete by hand, and using a shovel to move gravel)
May be asked to work in confined spaces, may have to enter and crawl in pipes and precast structures
Collection of company-owned equipment and tools at the end of the day
