About The Position

The Field Service Technician will operate out of our Baton Rouge service center with daily local travel in a company vehicle. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment including power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors. The technician will troubleshoot equipment failures both in the shop and at customer locations, and execute necessary repairs. This position offers the opportunity to work independently or collaboratively, set up and operate equipment, and has potential for overtime, weekend work, and occasional travel.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• 4-6 years of experience working on industrial HVAC equipment, chillers, or in a chemical plant environment, conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Proficiency in calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, as well as reading and interpreting schematics
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements
• Capable of lifting or moving objects, typically weighing less than 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
