About The Position

NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a team of Field Technicians in Salina, KS, to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running right. It’s straightforward work, it pays well, and you’re in charge of your own time. This is an independent contractor role where you will visit assigned stores to clean and disinfect bulk water machines, take meter readings, log data, and report on machine condition. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any damage or mechanical issues. This role is not a repair job; your primary function is to maintain cleanliness and provide accurate documentation.

Requirements

• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions
• Attention to detail — you follow the checklist, every time
• You show up when you’re scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect the bulk water machine inside and out
• Take meter readings and log the data on your service report
• Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit
• Submit your completed report to the home office when you’re done
• Call in anything that looks off — damage, mechanical issues, anything unusual
