This role installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment. The technician will perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating product and related performance, troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions to resolve issues quickly, and installing, upgrading, and removing products while ensuring coordinated engineering field changes. The role also requires maintaining effective customer communications and relations, and may involve providing on-site training to customer support personnel.
