About The Position

Requirements

• Proven experience in excavation and demolition within commercial construction projects.
• Familiarity with operating heavy machinery safely and effectively.
• Basic understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Physical capability to perform demanding labor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry

Nice To Haves

• Certification in construction safety or heavy machinery operation.

• Previous work experience on large-scale commercial building projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform excavation and site preparation tasks for commercial building projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Assist in demolition activities, safely dismantling structures as required while minimizing disruption to surrounding areas.
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and other construction equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Support project estimation and construction management teams by providing on-site insights and assisting with material handling and logistics.
• Adhere to all construction safety standards and protocols, actively participating in safety meetings and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
