About The Position

OSL is seeking enthusiastic door-to-door canvassers to engage potential voters in the Brantford-Brant South-Six Nations riding. As a Field Team Lead, you will support and motivate the team, keep them focused on achieving objectives, and handle the day-to-day operations of the program. This role requires walking neighborhoods, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and using a personal vehicle for travel. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to performing the work diligently. This is a 5-week contract position with the possibility of extension or transfer. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience managing small to medium-sized teams.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with the public.
  • Detail-oriented and disciplined in following scripts and protocols.
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
  • You are a conservative voter, or you are bipartisan and have no political affiliations.
  • Full-Time Availability - Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM), Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM).
  • Comfortable standing, walking and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Smartphone required for field data collection.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3-4 canvassers conducting public outreach to engage potential voters.
  • Represent the client professionally as an ambassador.
  • Train and coach team members to engage the public with enthusiasm, deliver a great experience, and stay focused on objectives.
  • Submit accurate daily and weekly reporting via online portals.
  • Monitor performance and analyze reports to ensure objectives are being met.
  • Lead daily team meetings and maintain group communication channels.
  • Uphold company standards for professionalism and integrity in the field.
