About The Position

Chick-fil-A, Inc. Field Talent Staff (FTS) is an opportunity for new and emerging Restaurant Leaders to utilize their current restaurant knowledge to train Team Members in new Chick-fil-A Restaurants on Brand and Operational Standards and to provide operational support at Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments, including Chick-fil-A, Inc.-Owned Restaurants, Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Centers, or Disaster Relief or other similar temporary locations. FTS will develop your leadership, training, and operational skills while working with other outstanding leaders from across Chick-fil-A. The Field Talent Staff (FTS) role is an opportunity for new and emerging Restaurant Leaders to utilize their current Restaurant knowledge by training Team Members in both new and Chick-fil-A, Inc.-Owned Restaurants.

Requirements

  • Must currently work in a Chick-fil-A-branded restaurant.
  • Must have worked at that location for at least six months.
  • Must have current employer’s support before applying.
  • Complete the FTS Program Application prior to applying for training events.
  • Successful Background Check must be processed.
  • Complete a new certification course (FTS1 and FTS2 effective Feb. 16, 2026).
  • New FTS who have not yet worked on an assignment will complete the certification while on their first assignment.
  • Existing FTS will be given until June 30, 2026, to complete the course while not on an assignment.
  • Complete the FTS1 Certification Course (4-hour course, within 72 hours of enrolling).
  • Download completion certificate and share with supervisor on assignment (for new FTS).

Nice To Haves

  • Existing FTS completing the course while not on assignment should not log time in NOVAtime or expenses in Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Serve at a Company-Owned Restaurant (COR) as Field Talent Staff.
  • Perform a number of training and operational support roles.
  • Train Team Members in new Chick-fil-A Restaurants on Brand and Operational Standards.
  • Provide operational support at Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments, including Chick-fil-A, Inc.-Owned Restaurants, Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Centers, or Disaster Relief or other similar temporary locations.

Benefits

  • Paid time for training (5 hours for the FTS1 Certification Course).
  • Daily per diem for use of personal technology.
  • Hourly rate of $20 ($21.50 per hour for assignments in Washington).
  • Overtime pay at one and one-half times the regular rate for hours over 40 in a workweek.
