About The Position

GFL is seeking a Field Talent Acquisition Partner to join their expanding team. This role is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for operational and field service teams. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Operational Leadership, Branch Managers, and Regional HR teams to develop hiring strategies, source skilled talent, and build the workforce across the Quebec region. The position reports to the Team Lead, Talent Acquisition.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in recruitment, specifically within high-volume, blue-collar, or industrial/skilled trades hiring.
• Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing tools.
• Exceptional consultative, advisory, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational talent with the ability to manage multiple competing searches simultaneously.
• Highly proactive, adaptable, and skilled at connecting with diverse stakeholders.
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.

• Direct experience working within the Workday Recruiting ATS platform.

Responsibilities

• Act as an in-house talent advisor to operational leadership, consulting on market trends, compensation insights, and regional talent strategies.
• Manage the end-to-end hiring process for field, operational, and skilled trade roles across the region, ensuring full process compliance.
• Execute creative, localized sourcing strategies to attract and engage both active and passive candidates within the industrial and blue-collar sectors.
• Serve as a champion for "Team Green," delivering a best-in-class, respectful, and engaging experience for every candidate.
• Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date candidate data within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday.
