The Field Survey Manager is responsible for understanding state regulations governing land surveying practice and has a strong comprehension of ALTA Surveys, with an emphasis on topographic features and engineering design alignment. This role involves facilitating meetings and maintaining high levels of communication with office management and project teams. The manager acts as the lead and subject matter expert on-site for all project survey-related items, mentoring junior technicians and implementing best practices and standard operating procedures to foster growth and success. This is a traveling position, requiring up to 100% travel across the US to help build renewable projects. Project placements can be in any state, with an average duration of 8-12 months per project. Daily per diem, a company vehicle, and a fuel card are provided, and the position is eligible for routine travel home (rotation) from the jobsite.
