About The Position

A skilled and motivated Field Support Technician is required to provide installation, technical support, and aftersales service for specialised access-controlled products within the mining sector. The role involves regular travel to client sites, on-site troubleshooting, customer training, and remote support. The successful candidate must be medically fit and able to meet mining site compliance requirements. Full product training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 5 years’ IT experience
  • Networking experience
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
  • Helpdesk and customer support experience
  • Ability to work extended hours and standby when required
  • Medically fit to work on mining sites and able to pass relevant medicals and inductions

Nice To Haves

  • Mining Competency B
  • Electronics or PC hardware experience and/or certifications
