About The Position

The Sunpro Field Support Specialist provides support to the Sales Representative by performing back office and customer support activities. The Field Support Specialist will visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values. This role supports project bids by conducting research, collecting data, and interfacing with key internal partners. The specialist will also contact customers and prospects to arrange appointments or to update them regarding the status of an order or a delivery, and communicate customer needs/concerns to the sales team, informing them of any problems or issues that may affect customer relations. The role involves entering order details in Bistrack and confirming price, discount level, and product requirements, as well as tracking and communicating stock availability and production schedules to the sales team and relevant internal partners. The Field Support Specialist will accurately maintain customer records, ensuring that customer, prospect, and account information is correct, and prepare and maintain accurate sales, activity, and expense reports. Additionally, the role monitors customer job progress and performs credit collection on past due accounts for assigned customers. The specialist will maintain effective relationships with employees who have contact with customers and assist field labor and perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in sales, construction, or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Ability to review and analyze details information.
  • Robust information and task management skills.
  • Possesses a detailed knowledge of Sunpro products, processes, and relevant production capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide back-office support to sales team by processing customer orders, tracking and reporting key data, and maintaining account records.
