Field Support Manager Inspections - New England
About The Position
The field support manager of inspections is responsible for performing inspections of store racking and cantilever systems on a scheduled basis to ensure safety and compliance with National Rack Standards and manufacture guidelines. The role involves coordination and communication with store leadership regarding scheduling, inspection findings, and routine training. The leader is responsible for review of materials needs, identifying opportunities with the inspection app and providing feedback on field trends. This role supports operations across New England including Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Candidates residing within these states are encouraged to apply, with a preference for those located in Boston due to business volume.
Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- 5 years of work experience.
- 1+ year of previous leadership experience.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Tableau
- Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences
- Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
- 5 years of preferred work experience.
- 1+ year of preferred leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform ad hoc requests as needed.
- Reviews independent engineering audits of inspection for feedback and learning.
- Provides feedback on tendencies in the field and opportunities on the inspection process.
- Performs and reviews store racking inspections across assigned territory.
- Works closely with store leadership on immediate safety concerns and training on National Racking Standards as applicable.
