About The Position

The Field Supervisor schedules and supervises a team of approximately 5–6 field installers and assists with installation as necessary. The role includes coordinating daily work at job sites, communicating between installers and project managers, and ensuring installations are performed safely, correctly, and efficiently. The position regularly operates at construction sites, warehouses, and shop environments and may require travel to project sites.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to frequently lift and carry 25–50 pounds and occasionally lift items exceeding 50 pounds.
Experience using power tools such as saws and drills.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
Ability to determine the tools and equipment needed for a job.
Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, stoop, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms for more than two-thirds of the working day; walk and talk or hear for approximately one-third of the working day.

Nice To Haves

Industry experience installing building materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

Attend weekly job-site meetings.
Schedule and supervise installers each day at job sites.
Conduct toolbox topics.
Prepare daily job-site reports.
Use tools properly to ensure safety and protect the quality of doors and hardware.
Report damaged products to a supervisor.
Analyze drawings, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly.
Organize and document safety training, drug screens, and other documents required by the contract.
Serve as a liaison between installers and project managers.
Keep detailed records of installation requirements and project specifications to ensure installations are performed correctly and efficiently.
Assist with installation as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
