The Field Supervisor will manage a group of sub-contractor craftsmen (installers and helpers). This role involves regularly walking jobsites to verify readiness for HVAC rough-in and trim installations, coordinating installation dates with the scheduling team, and ensuring jobs are prepared for installation. The supervisor will check jobs by phase to ensure work completion, monitor schedule compliance for assigned work by subcontractor installation crews, and coordinate with subcontractors and the office regarding punch lists or repairs. Responsibilities also include reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices after work completion, potentially scheduling inspections with local jurisdictions, and coordinating/completing paperwork for field-identified billable change orders. The Field Supervisor will meet with Builder supervisors on job sites to resolve installation or design issues, manage production-related issues with homebuilders, and build rapport with builder superintendents. Additionally, the role requires ensuring employees attend required training, continuously seeking improvement in results and effectiveness, providing performance updates to senior management, and offering leadership through objective setting, delegation, and communication. The supervisor will address performance concerns with constructive feedback and consequences if standards are not met, and follow all safety policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned, and duties may vary by location.
