About The Position

The Field Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling and supervising a team of field installers, assisting with installations as needed. This role involves overseeing approximately 5-6 installers and ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently
Experience using power tools, such as saws and drills
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must have strong math skills
Must have strong communication skills
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
Ability to determine what type of tool and equipment are needed for a job

Nice To Haves

Industry experience with installation of building materials preferred

Responsibilities

Attends job site weekly meetings
Schedules and supervises installers each day on the job sites
Conducts toolbox talks
Completes daily reports on job sites
Uses tools properly to ensure safety and protect the quality of doors and hardware
Reports any damaged products to the supervisor
Analyzes drawings, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly
Organizes and documents safety training, drug screens, and other documents needed depending on the contract
Acts as a liaison between Installers and Project Managers
Keeps detailed records of installation requirements/project specs to ensure each installation is performed correctly and efficiently
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
