About The Position

Kent is looking for a Field Supervisor to be based in Baytown, TX and support regional project site(s). This role involves coordinating day-to-day construction activities, managing project documentation, acting as a company representative, and liaising between clients, subcontractors, and vendors. The Field Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring safe workplace practices, managing material and equipment coordination, and preparing necessary project documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or College Degree in relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective time management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in multiple groups in a team-oriented environment and independently when necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to bring the project to successful completion.
  • Ability to work for extended durations, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and embrace charter values.
  • Foster good relationships and team working ethic with sub-contract teams to promote safe working practices and efficiency.
  • Experience of working in an integrated team from diverse locations required.
  • Some lifting; max 50lbs.
  • Observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the governing authorities of the host country.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain construction reports for projects weekly and daily.
  • Maintain Work instructions & processes.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of active construction projects, in consultation with Site Manager and Construction Supervisors.
  • Plan, Organize, and Act as the Company Representative pertaining to project documentation (photos, MTRs, sign-ins, JSAs, daily reports, equipment records).
  • Coordinate materials through interface with SCM, receive material at site and in the system.
  • Coordinate Equipment deliveries on/off renting.
  • Assist in safe workplace practices, manage safety incentives, and BSO cards.
  • Coordinates the transmission of submittmits via Aconex.
  • Act as a liaison between client, subcontractors and vendors on active projects.
  • Ensures as-built drawings and documents are provided to Site Managers.
  • Collects subcontractor documentation.
  • Prepare job specific manuals, testing requirements, all related project material, and collect all compliance documents for project.
  • Manage punch lists/ ITR documentation.
  • Manage and track RFI.
  • Prepare requisitions for materials, services, labor and equipment.
  • Assist Site Manager with various duties.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management, within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role.
