About The Position

Kent is looking for a Field Supervisor to be based in Baytown, TX and support regional project site(s).

Requirements

  • Diploma or College Degree in relevant technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective time management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in multiple groups in a team-oriented environment and independently when necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Traveling is required as well as between various job sites.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to bring the project to successful completion.
  • Ability to work for extended durations, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and embrace charter values.
  • Foster good relationships and team working ethic with sub-contract teams to promote safe working practices and efficiency.
  • Experience of working in an integrated team from diverse locations required.
  • Some lifting; max 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain construction reports for projects weekly and daily.
  • Maintain Work instructions & processes.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of active construction projects, in consultation with Site Manager and Construction Supervisors
  • Plan, Organize, and Act as the Company Representative pertaining to project documentation (photos, MTRs, sign-ins, JSAs, daily reports, equipment records)
  • Coordinate materials through interface with SCM, receive material at site and in the system.
  • Coordinate Equipment deliveries on/off renting.
  • Assist in safe workplace practices, manage safety incentives, and BSO cards.
  • Coordinates the transmission of submittals via Aconex.
  • Act as a liaison between client, subcontractors and vendors on active projects.
  • Ensures as-built drawings and documents are provided to Site Managers
  • Collects subcontractor documentation.
  • Prepare job specific manuals, testing requirements, all related project material, and collect all compliance documents for project.
  • Manage punch lists/ ITR documentation.
  • Manage and track RFI.
  • Prepare requisitions for materials, services, labor and equipment.
  • Assist Site Manager with various duties.
  • Additional HOC tasks may apply and may be modified per the project needs.
