Kent is looking for a Field Supervisor to be based in Baytown, TX and support regional project site(s).
Requirements
Diploma or College Degree in relevant technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Effective time management, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work in multiple groups in a team-oriented environment and independently when necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Traveling is required as well as between various job sites.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to bring the project to successful completion.
Ability to work for extended durations, holidays, and weekends when necessary.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and embrace charter values.
Foster good relationships and team working ethic with sub-contract teams to promote safe working practices and efficiency.
Experience of working in an integrated team from diverse locations required.
Some lifting; max 50lbs.
Responsibilities
Maintain construction reports for projects weekly and daily.
Maintain Work instructions & processes.
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of active construction projects, in consultation with Site Manager and Construction Supervisors
Plan, Organize, and Act as the Company Representative pertaining to project documentation (photos, MTRs, sign-ins, JSAs, daily reports, equipment records)
Coordinate materials through interface with SCM, receive material at site and in the system.
Coordinate Equipment deliveries on/off renting.
Assist in safe workplace practices, manage safety incentives, and BSO cards.
Coordinates the transmission of submittals via Aconex.
Act as a liaison between client, subcontractors and vendors on active projects.
Ensures as-built drawings and documents are provided to Site Managers
Collects subcontractor documentation.
Prepare job specific manuals, testing requirements, all related project material, and collect all compliance documents for project.
Manage punch lists/ ITR documentation.
Manage and track RFI.
Prepare requisitions for materials, services, labor and equipment.
Assist Site Manager with various duties.
Additional HOC tasks may apply and may be modified per the project needs.
