Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent education with at least three to five (3-5) years of experience or on the job training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Basic knowledge of fluid flow, pressure, hydrostatic head, pump characteristics and pipeline operations.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Two (2) years in a supervisory position.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Possession of a valid driver's license required.
Ability to travel and work in remote areas on a daily basis; may be on call.
English language fluency, verbal and written.
Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for directing work of third party contractors.
Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Oversee all operational, construction, safety, and personnel work received from Operations Director and Field personnel, assigning it to field supervisors for completion.
Directs the daily activities of an average of four to six (4-6) employees.
Hire, train, supervise, and assist employees as necessary to keep the pipeline in continuous operation.
Carries out the duties of the Area Supervisor in their absence.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, assigning and direction work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
