About The Position

Performs supervisory, skilled, and limited administrative work involving the maintenance of grounds, athletic fields, and landscaped areas, planting and maintenance of flower beds and plants, and/or general maintenance of community recreation facilities. Supervises the field activities of several crews. Work is usually performed under general supervision and reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation, meetings, and review of work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate
• Four (4) years of landscape maintenance, general facility, or grounds maintenance experience required
• Two (2) years of which must have been in a lead or supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required
