M.J. Nester Specialty Contractors provides expert services in welding, millwrighting, rigging, pipefitting, plant relocation, and supplemental labor. Based in the greater Philadelphia area, we serve clients nationwide in commercial and industrial environments. Our slogan, “The NEW Industry Standard,” reflects our commitment to quality, safety and innovation. The Field Superintendent owns the execution of assigned industrial mechanical projects, splitting time evenly between the jobsite and the office. This is a self-directed role: the Field Superintendent is expected to plan the work, coordinate crews and materials, manage the customer relationship, and resolve day-to-day issues independently, bringing forward decisions and outcomes rather than routine updates. The Field Superintendent is not expected to perform hands-on trade work; the role is one of ownership, coordination, and judgment across the projects assigned to them. This is a fast-track role: candidates who demonstrate strong ownership and sound judgment should expect to move into a full Project Manager position within approximately 1–3 months.
