About The Position

NE Tech Air is seeking a Field Superintendent for commercial sheet metal construction. This role is for individuals who want to lead from the front, ensure projects move forward efficiently, and build strong, proud crews. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and can hold team members accountable while maintaining respect. NE Tech Air values leaders who can adapt, collaborate, and take ownership of project outcomes. This is a hands-on role involving daily huddles, crew management, schedule coordination, field issue resolution, and overall project oversight from initiation to completion. Key attributes of successful leaders in this role include maintaining composure under pressure, clear communication, proactive planning, crew accountability, unwavering commitment to safety, and leading by example. This position is not suitable for individuals who disregard safety, require constant supervision, avoid difficult conversations, blame others, struggle with organization, or cannot motivate a team.

Requirements

  • 10 years in a construction supervisory role, preferably in sheet metal or HVAC.
  • Proven crew and schedule management on commercial job sites.
  • Able to read construction drawings, blueprints, and specs.
  • Strong knowledge of safety rules and compliance.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Comfortable using digital reporting tools (e.g., Procore, Airtable).
  • Ability to lead 30-50-man crews.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising field crews.
  • Managing schedules and daily production goals.
  • Maintaining jobsite safety and compliance.
  • Coordinating materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Communicating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Tracking progress and completing project documentation.
