About The Position
Manages and directs subcontractors and employees to complete a project in accordance with the plans or blueprints while ensuring that the project is completed safely, defect free, on time, and within the budget. This position will be responsible for supporting Austin, TX region.
Requirements
- OSHA 10 Hr and OSHA 30 hr Certifications
- PCI Field Auditor
- 5 to 7 years of prior or related precast or concrete industry experience is required.
- 3 to 5 (+) years of supervisory experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- College Degree (4 year) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
- Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
- Provides guidance to the development of the erection process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tolling and equipment needs.
- Coordinates erection and field service activities with all other functions of the organization and supplies to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
- Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of field operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
- Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
- Plans for and schedules sub-contractors.
- Provides input in research and development of new and emerging products.
- Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
- Provides input to the development of strategic plan of erection division.
