About The Position

Brook Hollow Golf Club of Dallas, Texas was founded in 1920 as a private, Member-owned golf club. Approaching 100 years, the Club continues to prosper and flourish through its endeavors, employees, culture and core values. Members and guests can immerse themselves into an exclusive Golf course, a superior sports complex for Tennis, Wellness and Swimming, then dine in one of our first-class, Clubhouse facilities—where our Chefs and staff create memorable experiences. As a private club, Brook Hollow is looking to add an Accounting Specialist to join its organization. This person will support the club’s Controller while implementing some new processes and developing the job description as deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Willing to perform other job-related duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, frozen drinks, with a full-service bar.
  • Prepares food in accordance with club recipes and standards to ensure the highest food quality.
  • Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
  • Requests additional supplies as necessary with requisition forms
  • Follows set-up procedures
  • Greets guests
  • Mixes, prepares and serves drinks
  • Charges drinks and food through P.O.S.
  • Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
  • Maintains and cleans equipment
  • Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco, and dry foods to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
  • Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures
  • Able to perform at a high volume pace and to handle multiple outlets to include Golf Course, Snack Bar, and the occasional outdoor diner.
  • Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards
  • Notifies kitchen staff of expected shortages
  • Covers, dates, and neatly stores all leftover products that are re-usable
  • Preparation of salads, sandwiches, fillings, and dressings and other items.
  • Sets up side station, member dining area and performs assigned side work
  • Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating
  • Takes members/guest orders
  • Removes soiled dishes
  • Verifies accuracy of prices
  • Keeps tables, Field Stand patio and bus station clean and tidy
  • Requisitions all food and beverage on their proper forms and maintains a proper par level as specified by the Assistant Clubhouse Manager
  • Performs additional duties as directed by the Assistant Clubhouse Manager, or any other Supervisor.
