Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active nursing license
Active CNA or Med aide License within the state (transfer eligibility)
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
Must be 18 years of age, or older

Responsibilities

Care for seniors in their homes & in facilities such as clinics, medical offices, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and schools
Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition and report changes supervisor
Help with daily activities with basic cares in nursing and as an aide
check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes, as needed
Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment
