About The Position

Gr8ttek is seeking a regular Field Specialist to join its Infrastructure Delivery team. Reporting to the Territory Supervisor, the Field Specialist performs hardware-focused break-fix services and solutions on various client products. The role involves basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities and may require moderately complex analytical skills and decisions guided by established department and company guidelines. The position may also provide functional guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

• Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to drive to client locations.
• Ability to lift and/or move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance.
• Own a basic repair tool kit.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Dell/Lenovo certification training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer break-fix support for designated equipment.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Accept and deliver assigned service calls.
• Complete administrative tasks associated with each call.
• Control and return assets and inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Provide functional guidance to colleagues, as needed.

Benefits

• $40 per call and $5 per call per diem.
