Under direct supervision during on-the-job training, the candidate must receive and follow specific, detailed instructions. Learn and assist other crew members during Installation and/or Maintenance activities at Customer Sites.
As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Being responsible for learning to execute maintenance/installation of TPS rotating equipment and for assisting other crew members in performing the assigned scope of work.
Interacting primarily with assigned MENTOR or direct supervisor and other specialists/supervisors in the group.
Executing all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors, following all IET Gas Technology Service applicable processes and procedures.
Performing other related duties as required.
Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Requirements

• Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Controls Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a similar technical field
• Have entry-level to 1+ years of controls engineering experience in project-based or industrial settings.
• Have ability to understand and interpret technical drawings (P&ID, Instrumentation, etc.)
• Have excellent English fluency, both spoken and written; Spanish is a plus.
• Be able to work in a multi-cultural team and be willing to travel worldwide up to 90% of the time, including offshore platforms
• Be eligible authorized to work in the USA and eligible to work across the border, such as in Canada, Europe, and Mexico.
• Have strong customer service mindset.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills.
