About The Position

As a Field Specialist III (API 653 Field Technician Foreman), you are playing a key role in leading and facilitating the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of API 653/570/510 inspections for above‑ground storage tanks and pressure vessels. You are ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high inspection standards, and supporting customer success through technical accuracy and strong field leadership. In this role, you are: Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring proper safety procedures and equipment are being used Performing inspections in accordance with API 653 and related industry standards Documenting inspection activities following company and customer guidelines Recommending repairs and inspecting completed repair work as required Managing clear, accurate, and professional communication with customers and office teams Leading and directing field crews to complete projects efficiently Making quick, informed decisions on the job to ensure successful project completion Completing all required training within company guidelines Performing additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Have 5 years of field inspection experience
  • Have API 653 certification
  • Have the ability to maintain strong working relationships with coworkers, management, vendors, and customers
  • Have willingness to travel up to 75%, including short‑notice and overnight travel
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to pass background checks and drug testing (including random testing)
  • Have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport and TWIC card
  • Have comfort working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Have knowledge of or certification in MFL, UT, MT, VT, PT, and other NDE methods as required
