About The Position

The Field Services Proposal Specialist III will own the entire proposal lifecycle. This includes everything from initial requirement identification to final submission, including, but not limited to managing proposal schedules, compliance matrices, bonds, contract approvals, project descriptions, and resumes. All outgoing content must be consistent, high-quality, and deeply customer focused.

Requirements

  • Must be knowledgeable of current industrial safety practices and industrial hygiene and of hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal operations.
  • Essential competencies to perform this job include technical writing, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; must be detail oriented and possess technical aptitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure, exercise independent judgment and select effective course of action while controlling resources and expenditures.
  • 5–10 years of bid & proposal experience with thorough knowledge of complex regulations specific to the environmental hazardous waste industry, remediation or emergency response principles and best practices including analysis and evaluation and research methods and strategies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of RCRA, TSCA, and applicable state regulations.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. You will be responsible for coordinating the initial kickoff, drafting responses, and final production.
  • Translate complex environmental data and project scopes into compelling narratives. You’ll write and edit both technical sections and executive summaries that highlight our companies unique value proposition.
  • Partner with the Sales team to gather technical specs, safety records, and pricing data.
  • Act as the final line of defense to ensure every proposal is 100% compliant with client instructions and meets our corporate brand and quality standards.
  • Own the proposal calendar. You will establish milestones, track progress against tight deadlines, and ensure every submission is delivered on time.
  • Conduct deep dives into potential clients, regulatory shifts, and competitor trends to tailor our messaging for specific environmental sectors.
