This internship opportunity is with the Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) in their Regulatory Support Bureau. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting essential regulatory, permitting, and compliance functions. Responsibilities include assisting with drafting professional correspondence, compiling and analyzing data, comparing construction activities against approved plans, participating in meetings on regulatory matters, routing citizen inquiries, supporting environmental compliance inspections, and contributing to research. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical skills, deepen understanding of environmental resource programs, and collaborate with staff. This internship is not eligible for remote work.
