This position affords full-time opportunities in Houston, Texas area, not just turnarounds. We have Shop / Field jobs. Requires TWIC card, DISA drug test, DISA-Hair Follicle, clean work history. Work is in the shop, and you must be able to travel & work in the field when the job requires potentially out of state. Hands on experience working with Reciprocating compressors in petrochemical environment, the ability to disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble rotating equipment (gearboxes, compressors, pumps, and/or centrifuges) with little supervision help.

Requirements

• Must possess a TWIC card and pass DISA drug test & DISA hair follicle test.
• Must maintain a clean work history, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
• Must be willing and available to travel for out-of-town work as needed.
• Must understand some projects require evening/overnight shifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)

Nice To Haves

• Hands on experience working with Reciprocating compressors in petrochemical environment
• Ability to disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble rotating equipment (gearboxes, compressors, pumps, and/or centrifuges) with little supervision help.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence – Deliver high-quality service, ensuring client satisfaction and professionalism in all interactions.
• Equipment Installation & Alignment – Install heavy industrial machinery, perform precision alignments, and manage all mechanical connections with expertise.
• Safety Compliance & Certifications – Maintain a strong safety-first mindset, successfully complete required safety courses, and obtain all relevant certifications.
• Blueprint & Technical Drawing Interpretation – Read and interpret OEM Manuals, blueprints, schematics, and hand sketches, ensuring accurate execution of project requirements.
• Project Coordination & Communication – Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Technical Advisors, and clients, keeping them informed on project progress, strategies, and execution timelines.
• Permit & Job Layout Leadership – Lead permit activities on-site and ensure the proper layout of job tasks for streamlined operations.
• Crew Leadership & Equipment Overhaul – Supervise crews using effective communication, uphold high safety standards, and ensure exceptional quality in the overhaul of high-speed rotating equipment.
• Tooling Inventory & Quality Management – Maintain accurate tooling inventory, ensuring proper upkeep and quality control from one project to the next.
• Field Notes & Check Sheets Documentation – Diligently record task-specific activities and daily job progress. Demonstrate proficiency in reading, understanding, and completing check sheets tailored to the equipment being serviced.
