Requirements

  • Safety is a part of your day-to-day.
  • You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
  • You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work.
  • You are looking for long-term projects.
  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team.
  • You have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a technical degree is preferred.
  • You have at least 5 years of industry experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
  • You have demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
  • You possess job-related certifications, like First Aid, Safety, and Rescue.
  • You have the ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment.
  • You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
  • You must be able to pick up to 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours.
  • You have the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
  • You possess 10+ years of experience.
  • You have possession of OSHA 10.
  • You have excavator training.

Nice To Haves

  • Possessing a WSA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals determined by leadership.
  • Understanding and implementing MasTec Communications Group's Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies (Safety Manual).
  • Understanding and implementing Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI).
  • Ensuring safety requirements at your sites and with your crew.
  • Overseeing the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites.
  • Maintaining daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.
  • Implementing and following through with job instructions provided by leadership.
  • Compiling all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort.
  • Uploading closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
  • Coordinating with the customer representative for site-related activities and maintaining a good working relationship with the customer representative.
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and actively training/promoting learning to all crew members.
  • Always maintaining equipment and vehicles in operational condition.
  • Validating daily timesheets for Management.
  • Conducting other duties as assigned.
