About The Position

At TDS, our interns are our future. We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about problem solving and delivering technology solutions to move our business forward. As a Field Services Data Analytics Intern with us, you will build a solid foundation for your career by gaining hands-on experience from working on multiple projects with a wide variety of applications, including GIS, addressing, records and data review. This position can work remotely in any of the 40+ states in which TDS Telecom operates. This is a year-round internship, and we require at least 15 hours per week during core business hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $19/hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency
Must be able to complete working hours between M-F 8-5pm
Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
Must be 18+ years of age
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Great attention to detail

Responsibilities

Research plant records and technology platforms to serve our customers
Work with a variety of addressing and records systems to identify service opportunities
Evaluate network delivery technologies and understand network engineering leading-edge technologies as well as build/analyze/administer our networks
Address issues and find creative solutions
Migrate from legacy to Cloud-based solutions
Manage a variety of hardware devices through support and upgrades
Evaluate network equipment and leading-edge technologies as well as build/analyze/administer our networks
