Field Services and Training Specialist - Lineman
About The Position
Resilient Structures is seeking a Field Services and Training Specialist - Lineman for a contract, remote position based in Charlotte, NC. This is your opportunity to take your lineman career beyond the poles and job sites by becoming a trusted field expert, trainer, and technical resource for utility professionals across the country. As our Field Services and Training Specialist - Lineman, you'll travel throughout the United States serving as a trusted expert for utility customers installing RS Poles. You'll lead hands-on field training, demonstrate safe installation techniques, and answer technical questions from experienced crews. You'll also be consulting on best practices, conducting field research, collecting data for product improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance training programs and installation methods.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Lineman license
- Valid driver's license
- 10+ years of experience working as a Lineman within a utility organization
- Strong knowledge of utility power systems, electrical theory, technical drawings, and material/load calculations
- Experience climbing utility poles and structures and working at heights
- Experience using fall protection systems, hand tools, and powerline equipment
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
