About The Position

Under limited supervision, the service technician - mechanic position performs work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of logging machines (harvesters and forwarders) at the customers job sites; performs related work as assigned. Requirements

Must have, or be able to obtain a CDL license.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Speak English fluently.
Two-year degree in heavy equipment technician program or three years of experience and/or training in heavy equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
