This position is responsible for advising the effective planning and implementation of Andritz Equipment Customer Service. It reports to the Service Manager (Pulp, Paper & Board) and functions with little or no supervision. The role requires supervising and performing a variety of Andritz equipment start-ups and maintenance activities at Pulp, Paper & Board equipment installations, including rebuilds, troubleshooting, optimization, and preventive maintenance instructions for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems. The Service Representative will also conduct training for customer supervisory, technical, and operating personnel during installation and start-up. Additionally, the position involves visiting customer mill locations throughout North America to promote aftermarket equipment enhancements and provide sales support. The role demands making good decisions, including expeditious travel worldwide and coping with the usual complications of schedules.
