About The Position

Hi-Tech is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service and maintain commercial food service and supermarket equipment across customer locations. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with experience in electronics and electrical systems, or those eager to grow through hands-on technical training. You will work directly with customers to diagnose, repair, and install equipment critical to daily operations in grocery and food-processing environments. Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Prior experience servicing commercial or industrial equipment preferred
  • Basic electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently in customer environments
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Nice To Haves

  • Electronics background (servos, motors, CPUs, PLCs, or programming)
  • Experience installing or repairing beverage machines
  • Prior OEM or technical training programs (such as Hobart or similar platforms)

Responsibilities

  • Service and support commercial customer accounts in the field
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
  • Work on supermarket and food-processing equipment including: Scales Meat wrapping and labeling machines Beverage systems Related commercial food equipment
  • Perform equipment installations and upgrades as needed
  • Document service work and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
