Field Service Technician
About The Position
Primary Responsibilities Perform rig-ups, rig-downs, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs in the field Identify and work with various types of solids control equipment Complete required safety training and follow all safety protocols Maintain proper rig etiquette while working on job sites Accurately complete rental agreements, field tickets, and daily reports Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Assist with general labor tasks as needed Job Duties Travel to field locations to support equipment setup and operations Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times Support team operations to ensure efficient and safe job execution Train and assist other employees when needed Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and extended standing Education and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Candidate must satisfy all internal driver eligibility requirements, including compliance with company policies, licensing standards, and driving record criteria Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to train others and work effectively in a team environment Positive attitude and adaptability in fast-paced field conditions Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks for extended periods Veterans Welcome At NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
