This full-time position involves the inspection, tear down, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems from start to finish. The technician will diagnose defects on heavy-duty equipment such as screening plants, rock crushers, conveyors, conveyor belt scales, and rock breakers. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance according to vendor guidelines and undergoing periodic training on heavy equipment innovations. The role requires the use of safety equipment, driving to customer locations, and potential overnight stays. General mechanical knowledge is essential, and the work will primarily be in an outdoor environment. Overtime and on-call work beyond 40 hours may be required.
