About The Position
HiFyve is hiring a Field Service Technician in Springfield, MO! This role requires approximately 75% overnight travel to customer sites across the United States, where you'll install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain integrated low-voltage and electronic systems. You'll work independently while partnering with customers to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
Requirements
- 3+ years of field service, controls, low-voltage, or systems integration experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and electronic equipment
- Experience reading schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with networking and control systems preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel approximately 75% throughout the United States, including overnight travel
- Ability to meet customer site access requirements
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations throughout the United States to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain integrated electronic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment upgrades
- Diagnose electrical, networking, and control system issues
- Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Complete service documentation and communicate repair findings
- Support new equipment installations and system commissioning
- Work independently while providing excellent customer service
- Follow all customer safety and site requirements
