About The Position

Allied Technical Services is hiring a Field Service Technician for our Pump Rental Branch in Buckner, KY, just outside Louisville. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with a team to install, service, deliver, and operate temporary pump and piping systems used on water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the surrounding region. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Buckner, KY team. In this role, you will provide service, installation, delivery, and operation support for temporary portable pump and piping systems used in municipal, industrial, and construction markets. This role includes local and regional travel to job sites throughout the surrounding area. If you have mechanical skills, construction labor experience, or simply enjoy hands-on work and want to learn a skilled trade, this could be a great opportunity. Requirements

  • Ability to load/unload pump and pump equipment on and off vehicles with powered industrial equipment.
  • Ability to complete documentation associated with customer rented deliverables.
  • Physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting 25 lbs. or more and working indoor/outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating schedule of after-hours emergency response and on-call work.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Must pass a drug and alcohol screening.
  • Must pass a background check and complete Form I-9 Documents.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years prior construction labor experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate lifting equipment including forklifts, extended boom forklifts, skid steers, tow motors, etc., preferred.

Responsibilities
