The Field Service Technician will identify, analyze, and execute required service orders including repairs, planned maintenance, and installations in their assigned service territory. This role involves understanding company service contracts and ensuring services are performed according to those plans. The technician will provide ongoing support to key customers through technical phone support, product installation, and field service. They will also provide product feedback on issues and trends observed in the field, assist in developing solutions, and report deviations from quality standards. The position requires maintaining accurate paperwork, emails, vendor credentialing, and expense reports, as well as ensuring tools, supplies, and parts are well-maintained and stocked. The technician will report all complaints discovered in the field according to quality system requirements and attend product-specific training when required. Additionally, they will promote the acquisition of service agreements by advising customers on available services.
