About The Position

AgRevolution, an agricultural equipment dealership, is seeking a Field Service Technician in Mayfield, KY. This role is responsible for performing repairs on equipment at customer and company locations, installing new equipment and component parts, and completing standard work assignments with minimal supervision. The position is assigned a company service truck and may be dispatched from home or company shop locations. AgRevolution aims to provide industry-leading products and support services to the farming community, focusing on quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Requirements

Experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs to agriculture, construction, off-road or heavy equipment or other similar equipment.
Experience using test equipment and tools to analyze, evaluate, locate and repair problems.
Experience with computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs.

Nice To Haves

May require overtime work or overnight travel to jobsites and be available to provide service to customers on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis.

Responsibilities

Operate and perform repairs to machinery and equipment at customer's jobsite or at Company Shop, using appropriate tooling and test equipment to capably complete the work in timely and efficient manner with a high level of quality.
Maintain a valid Driver's License in compliance with Company and DOT regulations, maintain legally required paperwork including DOT logs.
Use test equipment to analyze, evaluate and locate problems. Confer with customer and/or supervisor or make independent on the job decisions when necessary.
Write service reports at jobsite; keep accurate time on job and turn in cards in a timely manner.
Ensure accuracy of work orders by charging parts and labor to proper work order segment.
Own, update and maintain sufficient hand tools to perform the job.
Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes.
