About The Position

We’re hiring a Field Service Technician who thrives in independent roles and brings deep equipment knowledge and strong customer service skills to every job. At RDO Equipment Co., you’ll get the tools, training and support to succeed in the field. Your ability to build relationships and solve problems on-site are essential in this role. RDO Equipment Co. has a network of seven construction stores in the Southwest. Requirements

Mechanical background or schooling in diesel mechanics.
Clear and concise, written or verbal, communication abilities, whether partnering directly with customers or within our team.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Keen attention to detail.
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Experience in diesel mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair equipment accurately and promptly in the field or on the customer’s site.
Identify and resolve issues efficiently and independently.
Communicate clearly, respectfully, and in a timely manner with customers and management during the repair process.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Take advantage of company and manufacturer-sponsored training to adapt to changes in technology and learn new skills.
Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
