It requires the use of specialized tools and adherence to documented procedures for complex field repairs and preventative maintenance. The role also includes escalating unresolved issues, coaching and developing other technicians, completing necessary documentation, identifying sales opportunities, and undergoing continuous training. Maintaining the service vehicle and tools, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies are also key aspects of this position.
