The Field Service Technician role involves identifying and utilizing provided tools, products, and services to perform P&M equipment services for customers in various locations, including offshore. This position requires maintaining service reports, performing inspections and troubleshooting, managing inventory, and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately. The technician will also be responsible for company vehicle maintenance, expense reporting, and effective communication with internal teams and customers. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a safe and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety and field procedures, and operating equipment like forklifts. The technician must comply with Department of Transportation regulations and be capable of performing service jobs independently. Additionally, they are responsible for the upkeep and basic maintenance of company tooling and equipment, proper securing of materials for transport, and loading/unloading materials. The role also includes delivering products to the field and reporting any issues to the Service Supervisor. Maintaining required training and ensuring quality work within deadlines are essential. The technician will interact professionally with various stakeholders and work independently while coordinating with others. Reporting unsafe activities or injuries is mandatory, as is adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with overall objectives. Other duties may be assigned by management.
