About The Position

The role of a Field Service Technician is to troubleshoot a variety of our machine tools. This position is great for someone that is self-motivated and wants to travel. This job keeps everyday exciting due to the wide variety of tasks that it involves. They range from spindle rebuilds, troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and CNCs. It also includes build and addition of new equipment for upgrades to existing systems; this includes accurate alignment practices on high precision equipment.

Requirements

Two year certificate from college or technical school
Three to five years of related experience
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies
Ability to understand tolerances
Ability to read drawings (detail and assembly)
After training, have a thorough knowledge of all Hydromat machines

Nice To Haves

Ability to run machines such as a bandsaw, drill press, mill & lathe machines
Familiarity with Fanuc robotics and/or CNC
Have a thorough knowledge of Hydromat machines

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot a variety of machine tools
Perform spindle rebuilds
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot pneumatic systems
Troubleshoot CNCs
Build and add new equipment for upgrades to existing systems
Perform accurate alignment practices on high precision equipment
