About The Position

EAM-Mosca Corp., a market leader in automated packaging machinery and strapping solutions, is seeking an experienced, self-driven Field Service Technician with an electromechanical background for the Green Bay, WI region. The Field Service Technician will provide on-site and remote support for EAM's strapping systems, including standalone and integrated automated machines. Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of machines and their systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts.
  • Basic experience with control systems utilizing Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs.
  • Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, including understanding sensors, electric motors, and their interactions.
  • Ability to use a multimeter, perform point-to-point testing, read electrical schematics, and trace wiring.
  • Ability to use and read calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently on a regular basis.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally through written and verbal media (web-based service reporting, video conferencing, face-to-face interactions).
  • Ability to travel extensively within the U.S. Monday through Friday (80%).
  • Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Solid Mechanical/Electrical background.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish is preferred.
  • Corrugated Industry experience is a plus.
  • Mechanical understanding of strapping machines, Mosca preferred.
  • PLC experience preferred.
  • Associate's Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission equipment to ensure reliability and high customer satisfaction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and emergency repairs on all EAM equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using systematic thinking, test equipment, and hand tools to identify faults and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with Mosca Engineering to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Generate timely and professional service reports detailing work performed, parts used, issues, solutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Communicate daily with area service managers to develop schedules and travel itineraries that meet customer needs.
  • Work with a sense of urgency while remaining calm under pressure to ensure the highest level of customer service.
