About The Position

Provide onsite technical support for customer devices within a large facility environment. Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment in accordance with customer specifications and service requirements. Perform delivery and installation of printer supplies, equipment maintenance, and hardware repairs. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to printers, imaging products, and accessories. Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements. Act as the onsite customer representative, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. Manage dispatched service and supply requests while meeting established Service Level Agreement (SLA) commitments. Accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to manufacturer specifications, including electrical, mechanical, and print quality standards. Communicate effectively with customers regarding call acceptance, estimated arrival times, service status, and resolution. Provide customer training on equipment usage, features, and best practices. Complete required service documentation, including call updates, closures, parts tracking, inventory reporting, and service records. Maintain local parts inventory and ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels and transactions. Provide meter reads and other required device information as needed. Support implementation and deployment activities for print technology and managed services projects. Conduct printer assessments and assist with fleet optimization efforts. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all times. May be required to support standby hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting printers, hard copy devices, imaging products, and related technologies.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and technical issues independently.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple service requests while meeting SLA requirements.
  • Knowledge of equipment installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 - 5 years of experience servicing printers, hard copy devices, imaging products, or similar technical equipment preferred.
  • Experience providing onsite technical support in a customer-facing environment preferred.
  • Technical certifications or additional training in electronics, hardware repair, or related fields preferred.
