About The Position

General Parts Group is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment, including gas, electric, and steam systems. The technician will also be responsible for ordering and installing replacement parts and participating in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets our safety standards
• Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training
• EPA certification (for refrigeration techs)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems
• Order and install replacement parts
• Participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations
